Randomly bashing into bl tagged manga and saying only fujoshi enjoy this type of shit.
even my ass is wheezing!
Moreover I don't get why there are so many hatred after reading some fictional work none of us here are idiot to actually try out pedophilic stuff just because we read some manga.
And someone here searching for moral in an insanely popular website for yaoi stuff...
Omae bakanano?
chile.... just because you're not a pedo irl doesn't mean it's ok to support and romanticize a pedo relationship. it'll NEVER be ok for a full grown man to "fall in love" with a child, a 15 old kid will never be grown enough for a 40 year old person. i read as much yaoi as any other person on this app, but i get to choose what i support and what i don't. period, argue with your mama
Everything the person said above me, and also
Just because you like yaoi or bl it does not make you a fujoshi. A fujoshi is someone who fetishizes gay men or mlm relationships. There is no place where it is morally correct for a relationship like the one in this story. People making it out to be romantic are the people who only like them because they are men, because just a deeper look and you realise Hara Sensei is a fucking creep with major issues.
And I love the "it's just fiction" argument so much. Yes, it is just fiction, but when you start romanticising and sexualising relationships such as this one, it normalizes them. A lot of people reading this shit are young and easily influenced. They will (and I promise you this) think this is okay. Do you understand how dangerous that is?
Not only that, your claim about me searching for morals in a place filled with yaoi comes of as slightly homophobicIt suggests that all yaoi is somehow morally wrong when in reality, if you just scroll pass the rapey shit, you'll find that a LOT of yaoi or bl feature couples with consent. Nothing is inherently wrong because it features gay shit.

I'm sorry but let me be the anomaly and say this was not great. Don't get we wrong, I do enjoy this series. However, no matter how you look at it, a fifteen year old and a forty year old as a couple is very disturbing. Teacher-student relationships are already controversial due the power dynamics but there are instances where I do not mind them. However, the age gap here is uncomfortably large and to make matters worse one person in the relationship is a minor. Even if the minor made the first move, it is the teacher's job as the adult to turn them away. I really hate how him being attracted to his 15 year old students is being pushed as okay. In real life, this is considered pedophilia. If they have sex, it's rape. If they don't, it's grooming. I do like this author but I do not like how the teacher is handled here.
Besides all that, I'm constantly confused about Sajou's feelings towards his teacher. It leaves me with this uncomfortable feeling. Did he like him? Does he still like him? Sajou and Kusakabe never have an active conversation about this despite Kusakabe clearly being jealous or worried. I was left unsatisfied with how their relationship was left in this story.
The last couple is fine. Generally, I think that massive of an age gap is somewhat unhealthy but the fact of the matter is that they are both consenting adults. However, I cannot really feel bad for the old man when he has obviously engaged in sexual activity with minors in the past. Although I do not think how the mother treated him was fair, I as a parent would be extremely concerned about the relationship, too. If my 18 year old son told me he was dating a 70 year old (I don't know the exact ages so don't quote me on this) I would be very scared. I wouldn't hit or use vulgar language, of course (remember, I'm not defending the mother) but I would be angry.
A positive would be the art. I know there are a lot of people who aren't fans of it but I think it's unique and enjoyable. It creates atmospheric and interesting panels.
Other than that, however, this story was a big NO for me. I'm not attacking the mangaka or the people who did enjoy it. However, I do think people who read yaoi can often be ignorant to these types of issues. A lot of young people are on this site. I promise you that if a naïve twelve year old reads this and thinks it's romantic, they will probably start believing that these kinds of relationships are okay, and I don't think I need to tell you the dangers of that. Think about it like this: from another perspective, this could literally be a crime story about a teacher who takes advantage of young boys and his history in which his teacher engaged in a relationship with him. To me, that would be far more interesting. Regardless, we are all entitled to our own opinion so if this was your all time favourite story ever, then good for you.
