No, The Karma system works other way. The only way to finally find the enlightenment is to 1) not accumulate bad karma to anyone 2) accept the old karma from past life. If you do extremely good things, the small bad karma that you will get can be overshadowed by it.

The karma system is weird. With how I see things going, nobody in this universe is able to go to the “final” afterlife unless they haven’t interacted with anybody because some random people could be mad at them because they gave birth to a bad emperor. He also keeps repeating the same mistakes he knows that are going to make the emperor more attached to him and even get more karma.
