I think the author just Idk, didn’t want them to have that huge of a being difference, but like also did, but it didn’t look good on paper ? So they just drew it the way felt better for them I guess lol

My mom is 5’2 and my dad is 6’1 and she doesn’t even reach his shoulders.... (both of their heights are official like on their drivers license n shit) and shrimp’s and giant’s height difference is about the head of the giant (the shrimp reaching giant’s neck) so it doesn’t make any sense if the giant would be max over 5’8 at best which would still make him average.... the height proportions are just completely off but it’s quite charming actually.
