It’s not a very good plot but eh it’s a quarantine and boredom prevails. But it’s quite funny when people praise plots like this that not only is poorly written but does a very poor job of DID in maintaining its often disruptive presence in an individuals life. Instead it’s just quirk to forgive his rape, abusive and possessive behavior, and social ineptitude. But it’s never actually addressed it’s just seen as reason enough to forgive and forget. Or this new developing relationship between the plot’s sub characters that also begins with sexual assault and is readily overlooked as an awakening sexual experience. It’s just all garbage but hey we will read what we want to pass our days anyway.
You're right. As someone who is an avid reader, I don't tend to shy away from much reading material but I'm also a relatively big critic so if there's a terrible plot or too many plot holes, or just bad/distasteful characters/details (like the depiction of DID in this) it really turns me off of a story. I chose to drop this one simply based on the parts you mention. I'd honestly rather read killing stalking all over again and I hate the may the MC gets treated, and it gives me the heebeejeebees, but I can't deny that author knows how to write a damn story and not very many plot holes if any so I actually enjoyed it as much as I realistically could lol. Be warned about the abuse and rape (I consider it rape because he drugs him as well) that ensues at chapter 22 and up for quite a few chapters. I mean, the most annoying thing about it is that the MC is so wishy washy about accepting everything being done to him so far but also complaining about it at the same time. It's irritating. I'd yeet that mother****er straight to the hospital if I was him. Frying pan that POS to the morgue. Either fight him or don't fight him. Don't do a half-assed version of both! He's not scared of him really so his response is weird. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
