Character Development?

Any spoilers to any character development of the MC? I don’t mean development of their love relationship, lol. Just want to know whether it’s either a journey that’s rather eventful up ahead, or instead a rainbow path full of cotton candy fluff which I won’t complain about. Just wanna know what I’m heading into lol.
