I actually liked this. Its gave big twist to the little mermaid and the ending was pretty realistic, by that i mean the monsters and villains dont always get caught and in this case he wasnt and had a happy life after making everyone suffer. Yed it could have been executed better but it was definitely unpredictable and kept me on my toes. But i definitely wish that the eldest brother had a happier life because the other one was a dick from start to finish. ╥﹏╥
I knew the ending will be a tragedy just from the first chapter. It just gives that feeling. But the story could have been executed better. The main problem I have with this manga is that there is NOT A SINGLE likable character. I started out thinking ok the mermaid is dumb and the second prince is scheming/0% trustable. But eh the princess seems nice. I hope she'll have a happy ending. Then the love rectangle happened, etc ok no problem. It's just more drama to spice things up. But as the story goes on, my likability towards the character ONLY goes downhill, with the exception of the green hair mermaid.
The second prince is scheming af from the beginning till the end, and had no regret whatsoever. I was hoping to see him living *miserably* after everything he did, showing the least bit of regret. But what did I see? Him living perfectly healthy with a kid, looking like a perfect family. wtf.
I was ticked off with the princess since when she SLEPT with the second prince, and afterwards, righteously questioned the first prince about his kiss with Dee, like she herself is clean. Excuse me? You both cheated on your fiancés. And ur worst with how far u've gone.
I teared up a bit only during the part of the green hair mermaid's flashback and that was it. Like?????? If only the author gives more depth on the second prince and the princess' feelings after the tragedy, maybe my perspective of them would rise from -10 to 0. But nah. What a shitty ending.
