Personally I don't really recommend you to continue reading, not that I hate the story, I like it. But the Author is doing a poor job at balancing the main characters (Arjen, Arien) importance, it feels like Arjen is not even supposed to be in the story, but is placed in the story to attract readers, after the author finished writing the whole story.
Oh wow I also had this question the whole time while reading...like what exactly do they mean by pure blood (⊙…⊙ )

Maybe it really it with their royal cousins. You know since it's normal in royalty to marry cousins.
maybe its high nobles , or something like that coz even within the nobles you have a hierarchy.
it might be princesses of neighboring nations
and if their mother wasn't a pure noble maybe that also counts
So how are royal babies are made? I mean in terms of pure royalty. The twins are considered impure because they are not of pure Royal Blood. Does that mean that the Emperor needs to you know with another Royal? If the Emperor is the only Royal does that mean He did it with other royals from different kingdoms or was it with his sisters or cousins.This is where I am confused.
