Okay so, this is what I remember. So, Cain is injured and needs a doctor. So, he asks Sid to find him a doctor. But Sid decides to betray Cain (I think it was for selfish reasons.) and as he's looking for the doctor to "kill" he meets the MC's cop partner/friend. Then he starts using him as a door.
Anyways, Cain starts to get suspicious of Sid and confronts him. Sid denies that he has betrayed Cain. So Cain believes him. Anyways, doctor over here meets up with pink haired boi- because Pink haired boi is goign to create a tool that can make doors? Or increase the use of doors? But they need a strong soul.
Thus leading them to MC and Cain. But as They're tryna talk to Cain, Sid appears and now lies that Doctor is dead. (Cain doesn't know that the white haired glasses guy is the doctor) so now somebody has to admit the truth-

It's because he's in fear rn- cause Sid is threatening him. And I think he keeps his identity hidden cause he's wanted by Satan/his disciples? I think that was why- but I'm not 100% sure
So the thing here is.. Glasses guy is a doctor of demons or something.. He can cure Cain but the 'white braided hair' guy called sid who is an apprentice of Cain. When cain got hurt by satan, it was actually planned by sid to put Cain in front line with Satan.. Even though sid is an apprentice but he seeks power and to achieve that sid have to kill a higher rank demon and then devour him to get that power (according to the theory given by Cain before- that big demons devour small demons to get energy) .so in front of sid, the higher energy demon is his master Cain. Now the the glasses doctor guy you know, might cure Cain but sid has been trying to kill the doctor so that cure can't be provided to Cain and Cain succumb to his illness of Satan injury. All those times sid is killing the doctor's clone and the doctor understood that sid is trying to kill him for sure.. NOW LET ME EXPLAIN THE SCENE IN THIS CHAPTER.. Sid, doctor, and cain are all in the same room.. SID VIEW: he had already killed so many clones of doctor so now when he saw the real doctor in front of Cain he's acting like its the first time he's seeing his face but... sid still doesn't know that it's the real doctor, not any clone so now he's waiting for the doctor to make a move like barging in the conversation and say that he's the doctor or something so sid is waiting to either kill the doctor beforehand or just go with the flow of conversation and get out of there since the BDSM demon has the equipment needed to save Cain and he didn't want Cain to know that he himself being an apprentice of a big Demon is betraying his own master. So he's waiting for the doctor to open his mouth and kill him before any secret of his(sid) comes out. (maybe not sure about the equipment of BDSM guy) DOCTOR'S VIEW: he is trying to barge in and understand the situation that he has to reveal he is the doctor and is puzzled that how can sid not understand his face after killing so many clones of his. He finally understand that sid doesn't know that he is the real doctor. So he's thinking if he should come out clean in front of Cain or not. After a little bit of thought he came to a conclusion that sid is hiding any doctor or equipment from Cain that can cure him(cain). So now the doctor cant shout and come out clean or else sid will kill him if he gets a slightest bit of idea that it's the real deal doctor. CAIN VIEW : bitch may still trust SID than the newly arrived doctor.

This is getting increasingly confusing. At this point I just feel obligated to read it so I know what the ending it. Gonna drop this for now, might pick it up later or wait until someone decides to explain the plot to me.
