Plot ideas

i always like the heros where they undergo a transformation (due to a traumatic event)

I'll most likely post them on wattpad! I just need some kind of plot first

Would recommend browsing through other isekai’s first to see which plots aren’t used yet.

Maybe a story about how the person was very loved and so has a huge ego which makes them a bad person, but then someone decides to send them to a isekai world as revenge or because their jealous. MC then becomes a mob or someone who’s not very loved and learns that life isn’t about being popular or loved. And that they have to work for what they want instead of getting everything they want.

I mostly don’t read isekai so I don’t know if it’s been used numerous times before, but it could be interesting.

Literally something new but not copycat of plots of manga or webtoon with only difference are character names and powers.(I'm referring to the overused event progression) Also avoid extremely over fortunate or overpowered protagonists.

Tho if you end up writing something similar to the already existing isekai stories go ahead. I'm pretty sure many are a sucker of the same plot and cliché.

My advice is just write your story the way you want in the end but at the same time be original and don't expect no one will read or like your story, cause surely someone will.

A few ideas in my mind:

-everyone has their own unique power, some can be similar but none can be the same
-there isn't really a tier list regarding powers
-school setting?
-dungeons are kinda over used so avoid that I guess... (If possible)
-hunger games setting? (There was this story where in the top students are forced to join a tournament where in they kill other students from other schools for the entertainment of the others)
-this isn't really "isekai" but the MC has been reincarnated twice. (First life in world A, second live in world B, third life in world C/A)

Also I noticed that most isekai are in the past, it would be cool if it’s futuristic. Like, flying cars, robots etc.
