Definitely, but it’s probably because they have no choice since they have to condense an arc of 100+ chapters into probably 20-30 chapters with a certain amount of panels. That’s just too much to illustrate in terms of time and cost. Would recommend the novel as well.
From reading this, I conclude that reading the novel is much better. This just seems like another trying hard failed chinese manga with no originality tbh
