It's not just not giving enough attention, it's not acknowledging the relationship except when it's just the two of them, going on marriage dates with women and returning with lipstick on his clothes, acting like he doesn't know him when they meet outside, and calling him "childish" when he communicated how he was feeling about it. After that it was pestering him through phone calls and messages to get back together when they broke up. If "not giving enough attention" was all you saw, you might want to re-read.
I think they’re both in the wrong. Was hoping for the author to include Doyun’s story though and show him turn over a new leaf but i guess i expected too much haha
Like i think out of the wrongs they both did, faking that you were cheating on your partner is the worst vs the lesser evil not being able to give enough attention to said partner, when that said partner did not communicate that he was feeling neglected ╮(￣▽￣)╭
