Okay but

Do you not remember how their relationship was at first? How can you ever say that their relationship has not progressed? Sempai has progressed so much, he accepts nearly everything now (when the time is correct), just look at how he acted when he visited Morinaga in the previous chapter. Why are you getting angry about him not acting all nice with Morinaga when he came back? Haven't you seen how hard he is working right now? He doesn't have time to SLEEP and you think he is going to "waste time" chatting? No one would! And especially not someone like Sempai who really cares about his work. Plus he did act nice, he said "welcome back", and told him to go and rest when it was late. That's all he could do since he was working at the same time.
I'm just... Baffled at how people can say that Sempai from Vol 1 and Sempai from Vol 13 are the same person when he went from not even accepting to kiss him to ride him when they are having sex. Like??? Are we reading the same manga?? (sorry for the long rant lmao)

Oh wow I see the bar is really low. Magnolia

The bar is low for what? For me saying that he was acting nice? Of course, if it was a normal situation, that wouldn't be enough, but in context, it is, because he is literally working nonstop on a very important project, and if you have ever had to present a thesis you know how time/energy consuming it is so, of course, he isn't going to stop working just to talk with Morinaga (or anyone else), because he has NO time.
Also, we all need to remember that Sempai is not gay. He has never thought about himself being with another man (even hated the very idea of it) until Morinaga came along. Morinaga is making him question his whole self, his life. You can't expect him to change overnight, or even in a few months. Those things take time and you can't fault him for not jumping into Morinaga's arms, especially considering Sempai's personality. Hell, in the past few chapters he is basically accepting their relationship as lovers (accepts kisses, hugs, having sex, even tells his coworker not to say anything to the others and with that outwardly acknowledges his relationship with Morinaga...)
Sempai's character is the tsundere type, the way he acts like he doesn't want things etc is not going to change, that's just how any tsundere acts, and in this case, Sempai himself has troubles accepting how he is changing and slowly starting to accept Morinaga more and more. But if you don't like tsundere-like character, you are NEVER going to enjoy this story.
(once again sorry for the long answer lol)

Glad to see that some people understand how this story work.
I think a lot of people don't get that Sempai is a tsundere-like type of character, which is why they get upset at him not outwardly admitting his feeling for Morinaga or acting all lovey-dovey with him, that's just how he is as a character and that's never going to change, so if people are waiting for it to happen, they are always going to be disappointed.
Sempai speaks more with his actions (going all the way to Morinaga's flat just because he was worried and taking care of him) than with his words. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

It's scientifically proved that working nonstop is not efficient. So making a small break to exchange few words with your lover, ask about his wellbeing, anything would be both positive for his project and his relationship.

Once again you are talking about 180 degree changes. And I'm waiting for SMALL ones like Senpai initiating anything, beside two kisses through the whole series, or him stopping being abusive, stopping hitting Morinaga because he had audacity to touch him without permission, showing real interest in Morinaga beside situations where Morinaga's health or life are at risk.

    Seriously overnight? It's 13th volume.
The story is really repetitive. Every volumes end with the same pattern: Morinaga pressing, Senpai surrendering, sex scene.
Seriously simple cuddles would be breathtaking progress in their case.

For me they shouldn't be in relationship at all. It's really unhealthy one where both sides are not truly satisfied. Senpai would prefer Morinaga as friend, not lover. And Morinaga is starved of affection and love. And let's be real he will never get that.

First of all, it's been established that Sempai has been interested in girls before so no, he is NOT gay.
Secondly, it has also been established that would it be any guy other than Morinaga, Sempai would have never tolerated anything that he let Morinaga get away with. So this manga fits the traditional BL trope of "He is not gay, he only feels that way for ONE and only one person". So yeah, in this manga we can say that he is "Morinaga-sexual".

Does this trope is realistic? No. But it's still a trope commonly used in BL manga (a vaste majority follows this trope). You can't apply irl rules to mangas because they simply don't work that way. Otherwise, Morinaga would be in jail right now because he raped Sempai in the first few chapters.
So yeah, irl a man who has sex with a man and likes it is definitely not straight (not necessarily gay), in a manga though? Doesn't mean shit.
