Rereading this and I'm mad all over again. I wanted a sweet story between Jya and Birdie. But Jya turned out to be the worst! Sent little birdie off to be used by a someone he KNEW was a bad guy. Then after finding the poor thing, he forces him to come back, rips off his wing, threatens him with death, and then "saves" him! It's not "saving" someone when you were the one who put them in danger in the first place! Ugh. Little birdie deserved better.
