Extremely problematic

Yea fluff is great and I have no problem with people liking rough crazy sex between two men if its consensual. My problem is the rometesize rape and abuse and I dont know it's just crazy to me how so many people in the yaoi community are ok with it and even find it appealing I know there are some fantasies but it's not something to normalize

people who are like this post reasonable, like me often as well....i hope i don't missunderstand you...but it does not mean that we are against rape or what in a mamga.....but it should be in a logical realistic sense WITHIN the story....but it makes zero sense....that is why my imagination breaks off whenever I read stuff that breaks the flow....if there is rape, ok, but include it in a way it makes sense....if there is jealousy and possessiveness, ok, but make it make sense....romance and devoted love and raping your partner and the partner being mentally healthy and super chill about it are just not combinable....so my imagination breaks out of the flow of the story...out of the world the author tries to create, because the author themselves make their story make no sense....that is why killing stalking is one of the best extreme examples....that shit is bat shit crazy and traumatized me, but will always say it is a masterpiece and worth reading, because it is brutal and within the story there is romance but everyone knows and sees and understands from the story telling it is well build in. it makes sense you can read it and never break off..only if the tension gets too much you need a break so you won't go insane hahaha...but yeah...that is what makes a story good...if it makes you NOT OVERTHINK, but just be...be a passive "voyeur" of a story from a certain narrative perspective....stories like this are like wasted talent for me urgh...the editors must really only care about sales nothing else to not comment on this stuff and let it pass...

Absolutely agree with you if theres rape make it affect the storyline and dont romentecize it or romentecize abuse with killing stalking it made sense it developed the story but stories like this just add it to push the narrative that the guy that's raping the other person is possessive and that means he loves them a lot NOPE that's just abuse

I mean like.. People have different references. Stating a comment like that can inflict or make the author feel bitter about their work. Also, going to what I said, since people have different references, they might feel humiliated or be disorted in agony. My advise is, if you ain't got something pleasant to say, keep it wandering in your mouth instead of saying it :)

I feel the same way and agree on every point with you, except for the pedophilia. If anything that guy is an ephebophile. The art is great but the whole background story with MC‘s mom just raising her son as a girl just because she wants to and everybody just caving in to this, makes me really uncomfortable. And yes, this is also glorified with MC secretly thanking his mom for raising him as a girl, or how he says his mom didn’t have it easy. I think the author doesn’t really understand that this is actually really dark. There are real life examples I remembered while reading this, which made me even more uncomfortable. I can’t identify at all with how comedically this was handled. It’s off putting. And yes, MC is sexually assaulted and the husband heals the trauma with his healing dick, is so lame and tropey. ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

an author is an artist. and artists are beings that capture life in a standstill. and you can only learn to perfectly capture, if you learn about life. so for an author, it is important to shut out stupid nonsense hate comments, but if there are real explained perspectives to their story and if they read it and it helps them see their faults and learn from them...then they will grow. what do you think an author is? some kinda thing born with porcellain skin and if you poke it wrong it will break and never work again? duh? i know authors and artists myself and am from that world. i am someone that acted and sold stories on a stage. you guys talk like some baby girl high school gang kids that don't allow a friend of theirs to receive constructive criticism from their teacher, because she might be sad....what does it help if people blindly compliment and lie? no one will grow in such a world and learn more about themselves and life....anyway....this is a page authors usually don't visit anyway...always these "awww but the author will be sad" comments...pfft...
