This ending is so anti-climactic and unsatisfactory. Why would the author do that? At the end we never did have a good reason for Mao's such strong hatred towards Tarnia, Mutsu played no part whatsoever in the story's unravelling, and we had the weird plot twist at the end with Tarnia's parents that got resolved just like that and Rio's bizarre reincarnation arc. It feels like the author has a much bigger story planned but he just ran out of room. Did this manga get an early cancellation of something?
