I have some theories to why people think he's ugly.
1. They can't really see ou remember his face
2. He have a normal appearance, he's not ugly but the others around him are so extremely gorgeous that people end calling him ugly

I do really think the third theory have the most probability to be right.
It haves that time that one of the characters says that they can't remember his face.
And in another one, when he sees a record of his group fighting and his face is censored (i do think it's the fourth wall fault too!!!). We do know that some things he says is censored too, so when I read this part I automatically thought it was the same thing.
And all the times is mentioned that the other characters are beautiful...
So.. yeah number 3! (=・ω・=)

I dunno but the characters in the novel considered Dokja to be ugly, sheez, he's HOT men (and it's Fourth wall's fault btw).. and it's just funny that the fact that I'm reading the novel and the 'thing' happen to Han Myungoh is so hella insane.. i'm pretty far in the novel, i'm in 260+ chapter and just waiting the webtoon here. I can give some spoilers if you want xD
