I cant imagine anybody liking to be controlled in every aspect of their life :c It is suffocating/toxic and I think literature and movies romantize this, if it happens in real life I suppose it is due to some type of dependency, whether emotional or economic. They can be at peace with each other but it just feels somehow oppresive idk :(
I get what you mean, like relying on somebody or being taken care of. But if the other person thinks that he/she is entitled to choose everything in you life or you cannot leave them bc of dependency I dont think that's love and that is what happens in this manwha :c Lucia may be rich but she lives in a golden prision
I understand that it is set around the Middle Ages but please do not normalize Hue's behavior and the fact that he confuses love with oppressing the life of his wife like she has to ask for permission to ride a horse (? and he chooses her friends(? and does not want other men to see her riding (? it is not romantic but QUITE scary
