I recommend reading the novel guys! The manga leaves out a lot of good details that lets u connect and sympathize with the plot a lot more. The manga feels way more fast pass and glossed over many way too many scenes and details. For example about the boy’s past as a slave and his origins or how the two big beast men took care of the boy while he was injured and even invited a doctor. They might cover it later on in the manga but still doesn’t hurt to check out the novel. And while u read the novel you’ll already have the manga to help visualize scenes! Recommend recommend! The first chapter of the novel bro... I was crying the whole time while I was reading it. It was so sad and deplorable. That’s why I still don’t accept the ending like it was cute, but the justification for the plot doesn’t felt right.
