Well for replies for questions you post all you have to do is go to your page and check under "my questions" to see if anyone has replied. But i do agree that notifications might be helpful, especially for comments.
something like youtube's little notification sign at the top of the page? sounds good to me too
Should make it so that we get a notification when someone replies to our questions or comments. And we can go directly to it. I just think it would be more convenient/better that way.
