I think daddy Claude tried to use dark magic before but momma fairy lady stopped the curse by sacrificing her life that's why she died so suddenly after she gave birth. Uncle Dark Claude on the other had had Jettie with ex-Claude fiancee by dark magic??? and since she is lets say a cursed child she became the tigger for Athy's mana to rile up since that day she touched Raven at the tea party. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
