All of my brothers when they were born received wind-up musical stuffed animals. The eldest got a giraffe, the second got a soldier, the third got a rabbit and my younger brother got a blue and white puppy. I'd never really thought about it, but each one cherished those stuffed animals greatly. So when, on christmas morning when i was about 13-14, i opened a box just about the right size for the hottest toy of the season and instead found a soft pink pig that played second hand rose, i burst out crying. My mom was horrified, thinking she'd done something wrong. Instead it was the most perfect gift ever. :*)
