Whoops, got my numbers wrong as it's seven who's in the park (not eight) and hooks up with Akamatsu. Just had to clarify, all these numbers vs names are giving me sporadic brain cramps, especially since it's in the actual title itself, lol.
Yepp the "Dad" is a terrible person
This certainly explains a lot, not all, but more than I was thinking. So the guy they (?) have to refer to as Dad is in actuality a pedophilic pimp. He's possibly taken seven and eight in for just that purpose, possibly under the guise of saving them but more to use them as money makers. Does kind of make me wonder if there was a one through six and what might have happened to them. This does show you how this kind of forced life can warp a kids mind, ie the episode with the bugs. So eight was "living" in the park as part of his plan to escape his "life" and start over, he then meets the perfect guy but as fate would have it his past won't let him go. I really (of course) want this to end well but just as in real life we don't always get what we want. I hope this gets uploaded to the end as I'm now really invested in how the author will make this work out, either good or bad. Sorry for the ramble but I think it was to clarify things in my mind as well as making a statement.
