Also, even the FL doesn't show much focus on learning about magic, it is a little odd. I understood she lost her interests in life, thus, she, said herself, lazy and just went with the flow to protect the family.
But, the story doesn't show any determination in learning about the world or learning magic to protect herself even after the knight incident, I think it's a little ridiculous. Hopefully she will grow stronger and actually have a better plan later chapters, now, ....
For the Emperor, I also have the same questions. He just suddenly fell DEEP!? in love with her after her " doesn't afraid of death" act.

i have so many questions that hopefully will be answered later on...
why did the king fall in love with her at first sight? why did they ask her to pretend to be a fackle, at least if they said shes a oxyel(forgot the word), she would have some respect from other people. why is the king so disrespected that the knights dont know how he looks like and this random person can just knock and yell at his room as much as he likes? why didnt her family care that she doesnt rmb anything and immediately sent her off? it looked like the maid and mom was actually worried for her so why didnt they explain how the world works and the basics of magic?
