Yes I absolutely agree with you, I mean if they love each other they should do what they want, and yeah his grandpa is his only family but he can't live in a way that he doesn't like just because his grandpa would be happy! He have to live his life the way he want because it's the only life he has! (and yes this is for the comic but also for everyone that is in similar situation!
