Oh wow same i didn't like it that much and yes it was fucked up the moment the seme really did imprisoned the uke, i was flippin and it's such a short manga i wish there was more closure and the problem of the story isn't a big deal actually (talking to another girl wth cliche and childish actually) It's not bad but just wasn't enough for me, wish it was atleast 4-5 chapters more
There’s so many people in the comments who like this story and I’m lost so I wanted to share my personal issues with it
-everything was fine with the story until chapter 3
- Let's talk about chapter 3. Wow, that was a mess. Uke gets mad at seme because he's talking to some girl. Then he bitches about it to the seme KNOWING that the seme likes him. Like I don’t know if the author was trying to tell us that the uke had feelings for the seme, but what happened next I- He really chained him up until the uke realized that the seme truly liked him.
-Now I'm thinking wow this is bad but it can’t get worse. But then he continuously touches the uke and the uke stays trapped for days while not knowing how much time has passed. He starts to have anxieties about being replaced at work and wants to feel needed. He tries to leave but then has flashbacks to how the seme needed him and wanted him and I- If this isn't the most toxic shit ever then I don’t know what is. The seme took advantage of the uke’s feeling of wanting to be needed and sexually assaulted him all for his own pleasure.
- Well, how do we know this? The seme tells his other friend that he wants to make sure the uke can't live without him and never wished for the uke to be happy without him. This is one of the worst portrayals of a psychotic character, that the author intended for us to like, that I have ever seen. Are we suppose to route for him? Are we supposed to like him because based on his actions? Are we suppose to ignore all his previous actions just because the uke ends up with him?
-The ending was so unsatisfying. The uke became so attached and reliant on the seme that he wanted to be with him. He accepted him even though the uke locked him up and assaulted him. This was such a disgusting ending because he was manipulated and so delusional after all that trauma. The author acted like the sexual assault and imprisonment that occur was normal by making the uke end up with his abuser. I extremely disliked this message due to the fact that she wrote an abusive psychotic character who hurt the victim he was obsessed with, but made it seem like no big deal.
