I agree with that, but I think it also means protecting his career. Maybe I am just thinking too deeply about it but in this industry, it's kind of hard to come out since it can bring your popularity down, and make you lose jobs. Since the media and paparazzi are always on top of what the actors are doing, I think they are just trying to protect Shin and not get him exposed to the cruel reality of what the acting world is like. Plus there are always crazy fans. This is based only on my opinion of course and how I view Asian media ( ̄∇ ̄")
