Yeah I can see your point but I think people really bagged on him because his inability to stand up for himself. It really did hurt aria a bit when she ended up having to let go of oscar (she is really strong and i admire her for that. her character is really complex and morally grey but I think the way she was written still made people love her regardless) Besides even if he was worried that his sister would do something to aria I think he was ignorant to the fact that she was still in danger regardless if he didn't pursue her or not. at least he could of devoted himself to protecting her then to give up and live in the shadows. (It's a good thing that aria is capable and gets with someone who actually is willing to stick by her side and protect her.)
True he didnt really stand up for himself he could have told his sister that he is the head of the family cause i think she aint even the crown princess but i feel like when oscar is in the shadows hell get in the way of the prince and aria
I just find it funny that when people read about this scene in the novel everyone was calling oscar a wimp and bashing him for folding so easily to his sister lol and the people who have read the comic are like oscar x happiness
