Ikr I’m not even Egyptian, but when I heard about ISIS I was so angry that they had to choose her name for their terrorist group. I always loved the name and her myths since I was a kid, so it felt like a sullying of my childhood in a way.
Isis was such a pretty name before it’s meaning became associated with violence... this is the first time I’ve seen it in a manga/webtoon. (It’s originally the name of the Egyptian goddess of fertility) (TεT)
