Hmmmmmm...

The uke is crying a lot. He's like 15, right? This kind of behavior would be annoying in anyone over the age of 10.
I guess I get it. He's overwhelmed, homesick and lovesick. He's confused about what's going on with his friend and his body. He also seems to have a lot of guilt about the past... But crying is not an effective way to deal with emotions. If he's this immature, why did his family think he was mature enough to board away from home for high school?

Crying is a normal way of expressing emotions, but he's crying constantly. That's not normal. And he's at an age that he should be able to control his feelings and the expression of them.

Oh, I said already. It's annoying. He's so annoying that I don't really like the story because of it. I won't continue to read it because............. crying is annoying. It might be a normal expression of emotion, but expressing emotions whenever you have them is NOT OK. Sometimes it's important to control the way you feel and your response to those feelings. That's why adults don't go around yelling at anyone who makes them mad or crying every time their boss criticizes them. That's what toddlers do.

hope one day you'll understand that sometimes, it's essential to cry and sometimes crying is unavoidable when our brain is in under some kind of a stressed-out /pressured mode . like yes, someone who cry often can be annoying BUT you are not feeling what the other person's pressure/stress they had at the time, k? yes, intentionally crying to get attention is bitchy but this is not the case here lmaoo ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Then when would it be alright for a 15-year-old boy to cry, if not when he is overwhelmed, homesick, lovesick, confused and guilt ridden all at once?
