The problem you're having is you're looking at it from the outside and imagining yourself in the main character shoes, and thinking about what you would do if that were you. the thing you have to understand about the main character Leng! is outside of the little pink hair girl he doesn't care about the uncle, wife or any of these people. Leng is here to get as much silver sand as possible and complete his sword and once that's finish he's leaving.

Anyone with two eyes can see he literally doesn’t care about the wife or anyone but the lol sis, Forget the outside look, the main issue is the moment in the spotlight after 34 chapters, he’s still a waste I everyone’s eyes, it’s dragging like literally dragging, but even tho I vented it’s not that deep.
