I feel like why she comes off more as a daughter figure than a mother figure is most likely due to the author's experiences. ((I assume)) they're not in the parent stage yet, they might not be able to properly pull off an adult vibe into their chara. Like, at some point, you can immerse yourself and write something specific to that age group and check in on others' experiences but your characters are oftentimes reflections of your current age and thought processes in a certain stage so ye???? Is this making sense lol
So in chapter 3 she’s a cooking genius and now suddenly she can’t make cookies? And why is she acting like she’s the daughter and not a 40 year-old woman? She was mature at first but what happened? I mean I like this manga but still...
