To be frank, I want Joowon for Haesoo really bad because even though it's toxic, it's real love. The only reason it's even toxic in the first place is because of their circumstances. Being step brothers who like each other, having been caught by their mom, their parents splitting up because of them, etc. Had it not been for all of those things, there won't be so much hesitation on both their parts. Taku is nice and all but from the beginning he had an ulterior motive. Not a bad one, but motive anyway. He knew of the story Haesoo wrote and he got curious. He wanted to know if it were true. He wanted Haesoo. He wanted him to be his model. He's trying to fix Haesoo and make him get over Joowon with having them resolve their own issues first. If taku really respected Haesoo, he'd have encouraged him to have a sit down with Joowon and tell him what's really on his mind instead of always internalizing everything to the point where Joowon misunderstands. That's just my take.

Yes let’s just forget about Joowon’s mental abuse towards Haesoo

J & H naturally have the worst chemistry ever, stop blaming everything on the parents *face palm*. And to call this relationship 'real love' is so sick and twisted. Even if it was real love, anyone can move on from a toxic relationship. Anyone can let go off years of mental pain. And Haesoo is doing that right now. Just because he cares about him, doesn't mean that he's forced to stay with him until the day they die.
