Minjae was really horrible. Eunsung died in complete agony being beat up and then burned alive. That's one of the the worst ways to die. The dad may have seen his son at that state before he was cremated or buried. Minjae could have directed his anger to the perpetrator of his abuse but instead put it all on Eunsung. Just because of jealousy? Are you fucking kidding me? It didn't help his situation at all but just given him a shallow, temporary satisfaction that someone else suffered more than he did. That's what's really terrible about Minjae. That he's willing to make someone innocent to suffer just because it made him feel good about himself.

I know that the author intended for us to feel sorry for him but the way Eunsung died (and how kind he was before that) just pulled the last sympathy straw from me.

That is no excuse for whatever he did, but let me indulge you in what you said and say sure ok at the time of the eunsung incident, he was really unstable and was being abused and he may have not been in his right mind when he did that, but fast forward to his life now:
He is loved by his friend/friend with benefit, he lives peacefully with his dad, went to school with no problems, works, has a decent life, in a good state of living and mind, nth external to affect his decisions but his love for someone he knows he cannot have (which is not a rare thing tbh unrequited love is so common and no excuse for anything) HOWEVER when Sunho begs for his help, thinking minjae will help him bec he went through the same thing and knows how awful it is so he would help save him as well, he was heartlessly ignored- no, he was told “so what?”

Mind you, this is the most heartless and cruelest character I have ever seen. He straight up said so what to someone who has tried to kill himself and is suffering all sorts of abuse he went through just bec he doesn’t wanna associate with that again. He basically didn’t care about sunho at all.

Honey, that is one awful bitch tbh. Nth can make me like him, sympathize, or remotely justify his actions. He is awful. Period.

and that's even worse, if Minjae experienced it himself he should know the feeling of getting bullied, thats why he should not turn a blind eye for those people whos calling for his help, btw its just a story lets just hope that this kind of story won't happen in real life.

I skip the sex scene....it make me wanna puke. And how can the dad have feeling for his sons murderer...it doesnt make any sense...I wish i was there and be eunsung saviour and beat the shit out of that murderer and tell him: hes not gonna be happy for the rest of his life...with that personality...no one would want to look after you. I'm not satisfied with the ending, be should be taken by the police by force and the fact that he took the blame...it feels like he become the saviour and we should be grateful. Feel bad for the dad and son that they had to die...they should be living happily.....just the two of them...WHY?!.
