Pretty sure his parents were originally from the world he transported too, and the goddess wanted one of the parents children to become heros, but he was abandoned cuz she thought he was unattractive and a moon god (?) apologized to him and gave him power to become hero instead

But Makoto would slay both hyumans and demons, and create lake? It should be around this part.
