That was my question. So is it possible that it was the ORIGINAL (or the second novel version of) Alicia who met up with Lancelot? That's why the MC didn't recognize him but when he said his name she did? But then Ares is gonna start wondering why she mistook him for Lancelot when she should have already known what he looked like..... However there's a hole in that theory too since I thought she was reborn to a much earlier age than what she appeared in that particular flashback.
My guess is that she didnt know the older brother she met was LANCELOT. Perhaps he didnt give his name for some reason so she didnt know who he was therefore, calling him older brother instead of a proper name.
She did not know how lancelot looked like, just merely who he was as in his character and relationships, it was probably a coincidence that she met him when she was younger but didnt realize it was lancelot whom she met
I mean I don't know how much the first and second versions of the novel differ but if the age at which the MC was reborn and the age at which her mother left and returned were the same in both versions, six, that doesn't leave a lot of time for Alicia herself to go looking for her mother and meet Lancelot.
She knew he was an illegitimate child though, and it was clear her 'older brother' wss too. Plus the way she responded to the maid's bullying was out of character for Yuna but not Alicia.

right? you’d think she’d at least be surprised or think ‘damn the man i originally wanted to seduce was under my nose the whole time???’ hopefully this gets cleared up
wait didn’t she mistake the ML for Lancelot in the beginning? if i remember correctly, it was part of her plot to sleep with Lancelot and eventually marry him to escape the upcoming war. however ML was calling himself Lancelot during the party, so she ended up sleeping with him by mistake. but she already knows who Lancelot is so how could she make that mistake...
