maybe it’s because it’s supposed to be a short story? usually short story is very rushed or at least moves too fast. it would have been better if this is a long story since the plot is complex and it seems that the author wants to fit a lot of stuff in this story. it’s good, though.
The art is good but the plot is lacking too light with no solid substance. Yes, the two of them did suffer but how it was portrayed feels lackluster, the story goes on with the flow and random obstacles pop. Overall i love the manga the story is just dull.
