I was able to keep my old nickname, but maybe if there are duplicates in the future, you won't be able to choose your old name? Some sites are like that.
whats a beta?? ( besides of a the second letter of the greek alphabet)
by the way... i prefer the old version too.
A beta is a testing phase of a website. its not 100% sure if it will used or not and so users can test out the site for bugs and stuff.
Sorry to be the person, but the names are NOT protected. Just now I tried it out with @Asami s name and there was no problem. Still, I really hope there wont be any fights here. Please be mature

I don't know - you tell me ... *wink* I do know that you can click on a persons' name and visit their personal information page - it shows personal comments and reading history ... hmmmm.... not sure about that one.
I hate the new version. I feel like I'm at someone else's house, not my home! But I did keep my name.
