We are all weak to beauty.
In fact i saw a study where two lots of people were shown these three faces in turn, attributed to a grave crime each, and were asked "how many years in prison does this person deserve?"
The crimes where the same three for both groups, difference was that one of them was shown three very beautiful "criminals", the other one, three plain looking "criminals".
Guess what? The group that judged the beautiful criminals, gave them (unknowingly) almost half the years in prison compared to the group that judged the plain ones... For the exact same crime!
So yeah, we get fooled by hotness
I know that ex is bad. I hate him too, I swear.
BUT
He is handsome. And the last page, when we see him in this cold, but still hot scene is really nice...
