Yeah, I expected that the author was thinking of that. But the term pure blood to me kinda give me the wrong impression since usually among royalty and aristocrat pure blood mean the same bloodline. Like how European royalty use to believed that to keep their blue blood they wouldn't marry anyone who aren't royalty.
When they said that true royalty are pure blood, are they saying that those royal kids are inbred? Oh well, they are royalty after all. Of course they are inbred. I guess if the author is going to explain this the author probably come up with something else beside incest since this thing dont usually go well with modern reader, the literal and historical term of the word pure blood is really bothering me, since the first thing cone to my mind is that they are inbred. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
