Feel like someone already had this half-baked theory but

I think Ibelin is also from the same earth as Latte. She’s also another avid reader of this romance novel and that’s why she acts all coy and whatnot. Since she read the novel, she also knows Ibelin is in the love triangle or rectangle with them and seeing Arwin defect and hang more with Latte upsets her because it defects from the novel. I feel like this is an obvious suspicion or it’s half-baked and wrong either way eushehhejd

I've thought abt that too. Or perhaps because what Latte is doing is unprecedented, this brings another part of Ibelin to light, one that hasn't been shown in the canon storyline. If you take into account the fact that a) she has a proper friend, not one manipulated by Periodt and b) has captured Arwin's interest - in a way that not only takes one of the ML out of the equation but also taught him to br a smidgen more compassionate.... this may be just Ibelin's behaviour we just don't get to see in the canon storyline w/out Latte's meddling. I think she might be possessive of Latte LMAO she did say that Latte was "my" friend & as a result, angered Arwin. Ibelin can't do anything to stop Arwin, he's a free spirit, not only uncharmed by her but also incredibly powerful. She may even know about or have some inclination of the relationship between Latte and Arwin. So uh yeah thank u for listening to my TedTalk.
