Y’all are annoying

Usually I’d agree w/ you abt the unnecessary hate/judgement female characters get but the MC has gotten progressively worse over the past few chapters and it’s hard to ignore like one would w/ a dumb action packed manga bc there’s nothing to distract us from her obliviousness.

Hopefully it gets better as the story continues but at this point? it’s getting tiring

I quite like this protagonist. She is pretty ignorant/oblivious, naive, and a tad stupid but she is still a pretty good character. Usually these types of female leads end up causing more havoc, misunderstandings, and drama than necessary. So far the FL is doing her best to give all the love the son missed out on and- quite frankly- is doing a good job at doing it. I'm in total support of this protagonist.

In regards to how the FL handles the male lead, I understand as I sure as hell wouldn't trust him if I saw him dragging a corpse as if it was nothing than threatening me. I would care even less if he fed my son poison - training or not- and then didn't even check to see whether he was okay or not.

I'm not with those who bashed this webtoon, and i also kinda disagree that they criticize every update if they hate it so much... but somehow i also get what they mean i mean yeah the FL is gentle but you have to admit that she's also dumb, i don't hate this webtoon and keep reading it while embracing the truth that yes the FL is dumb and annoying, the annoying part for me is not her being 'pure' and 'gentle', but the way she thinks that she knows what's best for ain and completely ignores the duke who obviously his biological father and knows ain much better than her, how she's so absorbed in her own idea and completely ignores her surroundings, it's actually kind of selfish of her (actually i find many side characters or even antogonists in other comics who originally don't mean harm but end up harming others without even realizing it, they're so self-centered thinking their ideology is the only thing that's right and they can't be wrong, in this webtoon that kind of character is the FL herself, or at least that's how she presented herself in these 21 chapters, i really hope she changes later).. Honestly i enjoy this webtoon and i also enjoy roselia and ain's sweet moments, but her ignorance and self-centered point of view need to change soon, i pity ain for having to drink the poison in secret or being 'forced' to play when it looks like he actually didn't want to (it could be ain's fault for pretending since the start, but well i think roselia as an adult should be more aware, remember one time roselia noticed ain's dark expression when she offered him peach? She end up knowing that ain is allergic to peach, but looks like she doesn't learn much because everytime she notices that same expression from ain, she still has no idea what's going on)
