I think Athy has had 2 previous lives and now is her 3rd time... The Lovely Prince book is her first life, she is killed by Claude because she is framed on poisoning Jeannette. I think she didnt met Lucas but Lucas is there in first novel (but he is just not stated in LP) and ate her magical energy (dog). She also met Ijekiel and Ijekiel likes her even in first life but because Jeannette have black magic, maybe everyone forgets Athy and only give their love to Jeannette...
Athy's second life is in the modern world wherein she forget her past life. That's why she only thought that Lovely Princess is only a book, not knowing that it is her first life. Athy didnt have her parents and I think she commit suicide or something then wake up again in her 3rd life which is the timeline now...
