Why is it that when characters like these, whether Athanasia or Raeliana are on the brink of recalling inconsistencies in the story they are in, they try to pretend as if they're overthinking? When Lucas prodded her to continue searching through her memory for inconsistencies, she acted like a clueless moron, deflecting and obfuscating the train of thought we're most interested in.... GAHHHH. THIS IS SO ANNOYING!!!!
