When I was a kid I hated my bro and sis and always felt my parents loved them more even tho they spent a lot of time with me too and never showed blatant favoritism like that dad. I would fight all the time with my siblings for that and with them I was a real bxtch sometimes. I was also very lonely. That’s just how kids are. If the manhua is gonna take the easy road of the reverse villainess, showcasing the neglected child as the villain insteed of the father, welp I think I might as well drop it. Some stuff already didn’t sit quite right with me (like how the knight forgave so quickly the princess that bit him up so bad. I agree, it's like that. But I read the raw, and I think that purple is also a reincarnator. Our mc sympathy with her, but she keep on scheming sh*t, so it got on my nerves.
And I think the reason why he loves our mc so much is because our mc doesn't have magic like others. Saw how others thought that he just brought that child in to give her the inheritance is clear on how much she would be suffering from the prejudice from those greedy pigs. Normal child will likely to grow a mental illness.
Unlike that girl, our mc is a clear and full blooded royalty. While she's just a legitimate child, so it's no wonder. I'm not being biased, just that there's no reason to pity her when our mc got that much prejudiced and all. She fell on purpose just to make everyone think our mc pushed her （￣へ￣）

Well it’s supposed to exaggerate the fathers lover of the FL, anyways this trope is used a lot so you should be used to this. It also makes the story more interesting even though sometimes the characters choices are questionable. The “Heroine” is portrayed as a jealous bitch so that you will hate her.

But showing off favoritism isn't exactly a smart choice.
For someone who is a strong tyrant emperor he sucks at communicating with others or trying to make piece.
If he has a real honest talk with the heroine, it would very likely prevent further schemes.
So he has time on doting the MC but not enough time to reason with his other daughter?
And why does the jealous heroine only hates her half-sister but not her shitty biological father?
Again he is the cause of all this mess.

I like recommend the MC Ianna from Reminiscence Adonis.
She is a unwanted child being neglected and condemned by the father and his household because her obsessive mother tricked/forced him into making her his second wife.
Ianna resent her family and breaks all connections with them. By the time her mother is gone (killed by Ianna because she send an assassin to regain her stolen god power), the first wife convinced the father that Ianna is a pitiful soul and father + brother tries to make amends with her, it's too late. She is finally done this family and moved on to build her own life. Now her ex-family feels guilty for the rest of their life.

That is why I am glad that an author finally created a story about an unapologetic badass bitch who shits on her tsundere biased father, entitled brother, spoiled ex-fiance and all toxic male leads! I am talking about Melissa from "Beware of the Villainess" ^^

Lol than that’s what the Heroine should do if she can’t earn her fathers love, she should move on. The father shouldn’t have to force himself to love his daughter and the Heroine shouldn’t expect that love back.

If the family were to be happy go lucky and shine and rainbows than this story would not be the story it is. And it would be less interesting because everyone is happy

I mean you also saw many soapy dramas... For a time you were really into it until you realize the plotholes, plot amors, questionable logic/decisions of the characters and the limit of suspension of disbelief...

Honestly, our mc sympathizes with her and she also love their father-daughter moment from the novel. Remember when mc met her the first time? Mc was actually excited for the father daughter moment. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
She could have stay still and be a good sister to our mc and stay quiet and be nice like the novel, but she didn't. You know why? Because she's also got isekai-ed and she wants to be the center of attention like the novel "heroine". （￣へ￣）
Honestly speaking, mc would have tried to get along with her and introduce her to the emperor and somehow try to make him notice her. But it didn't go that way because she's b*tch who will trie every mean to eliminate her own sister just so everything will go like the "novel". (︶︿︶)＝凸 (this emotion is for her, not you)
On the other hand, that emperor is lacking with a communication skill and Parenting skill. But do remember that royalties were raise like that. The only thing they needed back then was killing and scheming. (￣∇￣")
