EXACTLY took the words out my mouth. Gabriel and Salou say they like eachother but I feel like it’s just the old feelings they once shared. Idk. But I definitely agree that I’d rather have Gabriel and Salou then Gabriel and Paulo. Istg if Paulo and Gabriel end up together I’m going to cry.
tbh i don't really feel much of a connection between sailou and gabriel...but i still prefer them getting together than paulo and gabriel

and in the last chapter they refer to his control getting weaker, which confirms that gabriel was under paulo's control this whole time
