Eunjae is having a flashback about how depressed and pretty much suicidal he was after his parents' and dog's death (Hwan's doing this to him) and he was drunk and told the guy he would have sex with him (he didn't remember saying this). It's just a flashback he was having while being unconscious.
In the beginning of this manhwa, Eunjae almost walks in front of a truck and die, all because Hwan was "possessing" him (Hwan is the evil ghost).
Hwan has been "grooming" Eunjae since forever. he was the one who caused his parents death, and then his dog's death...For some reason, his goal seems to be bringing enough despair upon Eunjae to push him to commit suicide. And whenever Hwan possessed Eunjae, the latter ends up doing things he doesn't remember later. The guy who forced himself on Eunjae is just a random guy Eunjae must have met somewhere during one of his possessed moments and proposed sex to....and when he came to his senses and changed his mind he got raped instead...Just another way for Hwan to plunge him in depression
Hwan doesn’t want to kill him, when Eunjae walked in front of the car it was the other ghost possessing him and hwan got pissed and killed it. He needs eujae alive, he’s just weakening the connection between his soul and body by keeping him miserable and detached
Oh..Right! it makes more sense I guess since the weaker the connection between his soul and body the easier it gets to take over his body
Ya, I think that’s what he’s trying for. I really liked your analysis though, I hadn’t connected him not remembering asking the guy to sleep with him to hwan interfering with his life, I thought he was really drunk or the guy was lying, but your take makes sense and that’s really so scary and sad
