She is from 21st century and that's why she has different thinking way than people in this world. It's true that she is in new world now but still, she has no memory of the old FL, so that's why she acts as what she thinks it's common sense for her!
The mc isn’t dumb. She genuinely starting to care for Ain and even if she remembered that the protag was the prince what could she do against a king’s order? Throw a fit? Then you’ll call her stupid for talking to the king like that. Yeah she’s ditsy but she came from from the 21st century so she has to work out what applies here and what doesn’t. Not everyone going to drop there and be like “ohohoho time for me to make use of my historical shows I watch on tv” lol
