I'm sorry but I call bs, he could've done more. Could've sent a trusted servant to look after them or send someone periodically to check how they were. He just sent them off with a woman he knew was clearly extremely greedy and most certainly didn't care for those children.

That’s always true, but what I’m saying is that he currently has more potential to grow than most of the other fathers I’ve seen in other webcomics.
I do acknowledge the fact that he looks remorseful which is more than most of the other fathers from webcomics like this have ever seemed to reflect on.
Perhaps his actions weren’t right, but I’m so glad that he isn’t the same exact mold as the other “cold” fathers I’ve seen so far in other webcomics.
He definitely has a lot of potential for growth.
