Am I the only one who thinks it's really strange how Seiichi and Seiko defend one another whenever one is to blame? Like it's a odd thing it's like they become the other in their place when questioned about things that are their fault's but the other always takes defensive and protects the other. It's a odd way of them showing that they see one another, but also how they can become the other in their place

A;though I'm only on ch50 so my opinion is not very updated, it's difficult for seiichi who is in a position where he has no choice but to defend his mother in order to avoid her drama. She mentally abusive to the max, her defending his wrongdoings is also a tool for manipulation ('I'm on your side' 'only I get you'). Interesting? Yes, but maybe not odd.

I like your perspective of it and I understand but I guess what I was trying to say is that it seems like seiichi is losing his identity sort of when he turns into defensive for his mother (basically becoming her for her defense) cause in a recent chapter he has to remind himself over and over that he is his own person
