
I know a turkish woman, she told me her husband is her cousin. When they fell in love and decided to marry, they had to go through blood testing. To check if their DNA had enough differences, for them to "safely" have children. I guess relationships between cousins could be accepted, depending of where you are.

Biological term would be inbreeding. There won't be diversity in genes as we constantly share it with ppl related to us.
